After spending about 2 hours browsing random pages of freeware and pirated software, I decided to see if there were upgrades I would use to the best browser out there. Chrome, while awesome, is no longer my top browser, since it runs 2-3 processes, and becomes much too laggy after several hours of work. Now, as for these add-ons, some of them caught my eye immediately. Here is a list of the ones I adore.

1. Stylish
Here is the homepage for the add-on known as "Stylish". This handy little thing lets you add various features and colours to most webpages you will visit. Personally, I use:
- Streetlight Blue - which turns the page blue with yellow for titles, headers, footerse, etc.
- Blue search bar - which turns the search bar a nice shade of light blue (the contrast goes well with the previous style
- Remove Ads - this is my favorite one. It removes any* adds that DA may put up. I say any, because you can edit the styles at will, and the newer ads will, of course, not necessarily be programmed into the script.

2. Xmarks
XMarks is a password and bookmark vault which stores them online. The security lies in the way you set an account up. Though you set a password to your account (which shows your info, email, that jazz), you create a PIN. The length and complexity of the pin determines the encryption strength. They can recover a lost password, but not a lost PIN.

3. Open Tabs Relative
Open tabs relative is very simple and straight forward. When you open something in a new tab, it open it to the immediate right of the currently opened tab, instead of sending it to the end of the line. This helps, especially for me, when I'm doing massive research for papers, exams, etc.

4. Personas
Personas adds a skin to firefox. Much like stylish, except it doesn't add features. I've not found out yet whether you can change or edit the skins, but I'm positive that it is possible.

5. Greasemonkey
Greasemonkey. Much like stylish, though there are some scripts that are exclusive to GM, and vice versa. Both are nice to have.

6. Google Shortcuts
Google shortcuts. Manage google wave, gmail, notebook, and any other application that google has to offer, on one toolbar!

7. Downlaod Status Bar
Download status bar. This gets rid of that annoying pop-up window that tells you how fast a download is going, and how long it'll take to finish. This add-on puts it at the bottom of the browser window, in a nice discrete fashion.

8. Adblock Plus
Adblock Plus. Blocks pop-up ads. Nuff said.

9. Youtube Downloader
Fast Youtube Download will take any youtube video and save it. Not only that, it will save it in one of three formats. The other 2 are irrelevant, because the videos can be saved to go on an ipod.

10. Flagfox
Flagfox puts a little flag in the corner of the browser window, indicating where the server of the current page is located, as well as some information about it. Bit handy.
